To retire, move to PI and open a bar in Olongapo, was the dream of many a service member and apparently still is for some. Can't imagine how lucrative it would be given the absence of Subic and Clark and the current state of relations between the two countries.

Subic is still an RoP Navy & Marine base, as well as Philippine Constabulary (i believe)... soldiers/sailors/marines will always need “recreation”
