That is interesting SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that the USAFA indicated that there is no reason to ask about sexual orientation for prospective or current cadets.
Granted service academy cadets and midshipmen are not authorized to marry while they are going through the respective service academy program. Upon graduation they are free to marry.
Just because sexual orientation is not disqualifying sexual activity and orientation could well impact many academy aspects from medical through room assignments. For instance sexual activity among cadets has been forbidden since 1976 when I became part of the the first coed USMA class.

So what, perhaps they like to keep their personal life a private matter. That is assuming any of them are actually gay. There are not that many gay football players as far as I can tell.
