Did a base commander lie to his Airmen?

This is not like something you see from a military base that has, in the past, posted a memo of prohibited establishments such as strip clubs or massage parlors.

This is a political rally and the service member would not come in uniform anyway. So how was this against the Hatch Act?

Active service people here have said that I'm violating it even though they don't know that i'm retired and even if I was on temporary active duty And not retired, stating my opinion is totally okay!

We recently had Former Democrat Congresswoman Tulsa Gabbard fearing that President Biden was going to get us into world war three and she was wearing her uniform. She is a civil affair's officer in the Army Reserve. As far as I know comma she didn't get a letter of recommend or a General officer's memoranum of Reprimand (GOMR) for doing this. Did she not get in trouble because she's a former Democrat?
