It appears that someone jumped the gun to get an article out on the OA-X planes. SecAF stated, "I would expect this fall, or certainly by December or January, that we would make a decision on whether to do a follow-on experiment - it would be a combat experiment - and which aircraft might participate in that."

SSgt (Join to see) I still think that keeping the A-10 is the best option. Sometimes they really do get it right the first time.

PO3 Steven Sherrill Oh, I agree, totally. I think they should develop a Wing of CAS specialists. The star of the show would, absolutely, be the Hawg, but it would be supplemented by OA-X and Gunships.
