Bad idea. Instead of getting promoted to the SrNCO ranks based only on 50% politics, now it's become 100% based on politics.

This is how you wave a magic wand to appear like you are doing something, without actually doing something. When you grow up under an administration that did the same thing, you learn from the best. Now certainly, those of us who have specialized and are gone from base 150+ days every year to support remote missions, we’ll never be considered for promotion. You have to be on base to write awards packages for yourself, go to CC calls, sale popcorn and organize social clubs in order to get promoted. All the show ponies to be seen in the stables while the jack ass plows the field.
