Air Force: It's Time to Get Rid of Stupid Policies

What ???? Just because you can not keep pilots ? Naaaa,, come on there is nothing wrong. It's most likely the solar flares.

That was a pretty useless article. I read a bunch of touchy-feely statements which had absolutely no substance to them.

The title of the article said "It's Time to Get Rid of Stupid Policies". And yet...there wasn't anything substantial about WHAT "stupid policies" they were talking about.

They cited ONE specific example. ONE.

While I'm sure it's senseless to list EVERY stupid policy, citing only one stupid policy does absolutely nothing to give anybody any idea of the scope of the problems they wish to deal with, the levels at which those policies exist, and how those policies adversely affect the mission of the Air Force.

If they're going to do away with stupid policies, then I'd like to have some idea as to how far this will go at all levels. It makes no sense to do away with petty policies while leaving major moronic policies in place.
