I agree, Mikey Weinstein is a complete nutbag. He puts the "moron" in oxymoron.

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation is an exceptionally poor name for an organization dedicated to the elimination of all public expressions of religion in the military.

If they had their way, it would be the MRFEF, E for Elimination.

Exactly what I was going to say. The MRFF is badly misnamed. A vile organization for sure.

Once upon a time members of the dominant religion could impose their beliefs on others. (Well, okay, that's still true in the Middle East) (Well, okay again, Muslims still try even in places where theirs is not the dominant religion) I think that many continue to react to those times even though they are long past (except in the Middle East). It's time to get over it (except in the Middle East where you better be Muslim or kiss your head goodbye). If the person next door or sitting at the next desk at work or at the next table in a restaurant or on the next seat on the bus, wishes to read their bible (Bible) or pray, give them some slack. It's not hurting you. If, however, they badger you with their beliefs, politely tell them to shove it. Is it really so hard?

Let him have a bible on his desk. As long as he isn't forcing people to read it it is no more offensive than any other personal item.

A voice of reason, how refreshing.
