Patricia Overmeyer I don’t know where your info came from. Regardless, the Security Forces at the gate followed the protocol for a vehicle breach. They did their job.

Maj Robert Thornton - I live in Tucson where this happened and it's been in the news down here for the last few days. The driver's family has stated he recently has had episodes of confusion, disorientation, delusion and being incoherent as he was trying to figure out how to adequately regulate his sugar levels as the disease progressed. This is not unusual in diabetics as the disease progresses and former insulin amounts are not as effective. True, the Security Forces were not aware this man was in full blown delusional state due to the diabetic episode. It's really sad that this has happened.
However, this automatic jump to conclusion by people that the driver was drunk, stupid, out to get everyone, a terrorist, etc. is really overblown. What ever happened to just waiting for the facts to come out before making a conclusion?
