SFC Casey O'Mally
As a retired O6 with 30 years, he will be making a little over 10K a month.
I am retired, with 100% VA AND I have a full time state government job. Plus a second home I rent out. And he will make more than me.
Now, don't get me wrong, I am not trying to say that the contributions of a SFC over 20 years are the same as a COL over 30 years or even close. BUT....
I didn't sexually assault anyone and I was never convicted at a Court Martial.
PLUS, while he is retiring as a COL, he is still High-3, which was MG, so you can tack on an extra 3K / month unless the AF administratively corrected that and determined he was NEVER higher than a COL.
Ridiculous, IMHO.

Fixed the headline.
How many senior Officers are we going to let retire instead of facing REAL consequences?
