AIRCRAFT FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR

Los Alamitos Army Aviation Support Facility is hiring and training UH-60M Instructor Pilots. Separating active-duty Army flight instructors (W-2 to W-4 and O-3 to O-4) who wish to relocate to Southern California are strongly encouraged to apply. Also an excellent opportunity for Navy and Marine Corps IPs (O-3 to O-4) who intend to separate from active duty in Southern California and would like continue their service while remaining in the local area. Military helicopter instructor experience and documentation is required. UH-60 experience is not. We will train and certify you as a UH-60M flight instructor. Total annual compensation (including periods of active duty, fire pay, etc) starts at approximately $130,000/year. Depending on the amount of active service candidates bring in, they may either continue accruing time toward an active-duty retirement; or they may buy into the Federal Retirement System (all active duty time counts) and work toward both a federal and reserve military pensions.
