Hmmm. Maybe today's airmen need to stay off their smart devices and pay more attention to the their jobs and their equipment. Seems to me that serious consequences for the person who lost the machine gun and not those around him are necessary.

Had a corporal leave his M-16 at the top of Kaena Point inHawaii one time. When his CSM got through with him, he was glad that he was only a PFC.
