This is a strong reason why I have been against "Killing" AQ or ISIL websites. It does not count as a combat kill and we get a lot of information.
I actually, as a long time intell professional, strongly believe that drones are not good for use. Capture and interrogate will give us much more info to help end this much quicker.... Note, WWII was much quicker against bigger enemies.

I used to read "Dick Tracey" just so I could keep abreast of what the "fascists" were thinking.
Possibly I'm putting too fine a point on it, but I've always believed that someone who has been "captured and turned" is more valuable than someone who has been "captured and broken". Someone who has been "captured and broken" continues to destroy their own self-image with every piece of information they provide while someone who has been "captured and turned" BOLSTERS their own self-image with every piece of information they provide.
The problem, of course, is that it is MUCH easier to "break" someone than it is to "turn" them AND it is MUCH MUCH easier to get someone to tell you whatever it is that they think you want to know in order for the pain to stop.
