Alabama town mirrors US class divide on immigration

So, I have some issues with illegal immigration and yes I think everyone should be speaking English in a country that is predominately English speaking. When I lived in Germany as a student I learned and spoke German. I think this also an assimilation and integration thing. I went to school with kids that translated for their parents at parent-teacher conferences. Should it be a requirement to speak spanish for a job? No. Of course its nice to have a second language, I am all for schools pushing severla languages like the Europeans do, but Europe is a mix of countries and nationalities with many languages, not necessarily so here.
