No stopping every 10-15 secs to catch your breath.

Having played most of my rugby in the scrum as either 2nd or 8 it's was a very demanding sport. While it was very physical I've always felt it was more mentally demanding as you have little control of what goes on around you. You have to filter and focus on the controllables while being physically stressed for 80 minutes and during tournaments be prepared to do it again and again.
