Nothing the matter with talking to yourself, it's a normal thing to do.

Neighbors used to call my mother to tell her that they had seen me talking to myself. She understood. She also lived with my father. I think that she envied me my ability to escape to make believe worlds in my head. Ultimately, it was great training to become a storyteller.
