Allen restaurant blasted for bathroom doors that feature Caitlyn Jenner before, after transition

Personally, I think it’s funny. What seems to be lost here it that they are recognizing Caitlyn as a full woman. Shouldn’t we be celebrating that? Especially given the recent attempt by TX to pass a bathroom bill? Not every trans* person wants to hide & bury their past.

I was looking at the comments on the site and while unpopular I can appreciate a joke that makes light of ourselves. I get it and give it all the time. But there's a difference in a joke that's funny because it's an absurd statement, and a joke that's just to make fun of a particular group or person. The doors may be the former (in my opinion), but the people I see supporting it are the latter. I've always said you can say a lot to me as long as the context is clear. But if it's simply to be a punk, then yeah you're a bigot. Just accept it and stop calling it PC. It's just good manners of which you have none.

I saw this as well. I do not think it was a good idea for them to decorate the bathrooms like that. Sometimes we just need a little bit of tact because it looked tacky.
