Thanks for reminding us TSgt Joe C. that on March 30, 1814 the Sixth Coalition formed against Napoleon which consisted of Russia, Austria, and Prussia marched triumphantly into Paris, formally ending a decade of French domination on the Continent.
Napoleon was sent to Elba in exile and stayed their until, the next year when he came back to France for the 100 day rule which ended in his final defeat at Waterloo, Belgium
"The Hundred Days (French: les Cent-Jours IPA: [le sɑ̃ ʒuʁ]) marked the period between Napoleon's return from exile on the island of Elba to Paris on 20 March 1815 and the second restoration of King Louis XVIII on 8 July 1815 (a period of 111 days)."
