Sorry. Just from reading Whittle's biography and watching some of his Afterburner YouTube video, in no way is he someone who can talk about "honest journalism". On that note, I will recommend to you POTUS Politics on SiriusXM. Michael Smerconish is fair in his discussions and the guests he invites from both sides. He sticks to facts and welcomes all callers. Steele and Ungar is also a good show that brings open discussion and views from both sides. All three are honest with any bias and do a good job on analysis and details; not entertainment. Do give either or both a shot? If you already have, am interested in what you think of them.

Whittle does not purport to be a journalist...he is a commentator. Squarely conservative for sure, but not wrong in much of his thoughts in his commentary.
If you want to debate that, please cite a specific portion to reference, if not, I will not respond.

LTC Stephan Porter I’m not gonna debate his label as a Conservative commentator much in the likes of O’Reilly, Hannity, Alex Jones, and others. My argument was this guy isn’t a journalist as the original post alluded. I offered another source that crititiques both sides based on facts and typically holds interviewees accountable in their statements. So many of these commentators on news networks or claim to be an online media sources should have a disclaimer that says “I’m a commentator not a journalist and everything you’re about to hear is all opinion. I ask that you conduct your own research of the topic I discuss on my show.” Feel free to respond or not. I don't care.

You are extremely biased if you put Hannity and Jones in the same category MAJ James Woods

LTC Stephan Porter What? Both are commentators that focus on opinion, not facts, and push conspiracies. So how are they not in the same category of media roles? One is more volatile than the other but at the end of the day, they do the same thing, push wild accusations not based on facts or proof. Otherwise Hannity be sued for libel if he called himself a journalist and not an entertainer.
