I was interested to learn that the oldest female veteran died today and that Alyce Dixon attained to the ripe old age of 108. I am thankful for her service to this nation last century and hope her family and friends are comforted as thy mourn her passing.

Wow! 108?! Old enough to have memories of WWI and served in WWII. I hope they picked her brain for stories before her passing. Thanks for sharing!
