I wrote a short novel about the 173rd in the Central Highlands, which has done well on Amazon given it is my first published fiction. Though I did not serve in Vietnam, the soldiers who trained me when I joined in the early '80s did serve there, and they were of sterling character, and they raised me in a professional sense. This was my way of saying "Thanks!" Half of all revenue goes to various organizations that support veterans. So far, with a partial match from my employer, I've donated over $600. I will add another $500 to that before Christmas based on recent sales. That may not sound like much, but I only get $.52 a copy, so it takes a while to add up. ;) I've also just released the audio version.
