'Amazon effect' plagues Korean economy

Too good to be true. We pay a price for low prices. Yes the convenience of ordering online and having it delivered is easy and often cheaper, but, not supporting local commerce can ultimately drive up local property taxes if there are no more businesses to pay property taxes. Or, local business must pay low wages to stay profitable. Low wages, low standard of living for the residents. A lot can be attributed to the cheap and easy approach.
