Wow, wonder if the UPS or the US mail have a similar system? what is the punitive action if your the driver that failed this honesty test?

I can answer as a UPS driver. Most of the UPS employees that I have heard of who were investigated for theft, if proven, were quietly fired. On a few rare occasions where the amount stolen was above some amount the company determined they have arrested the driver in question during what passes as our morning muster. I have no idea what metric they use to determine firing vs. arrest vs. any other punishment. Hope this helps answer at least part of your question. Lol sorry for the rambling:)
