Glad this was resolved, but it should not have gotten that far...... the current crackdown on "illegal immigrant" climate in the way it is portrayed does not help.

Before we get our collective panties in a twist, let's us wait until the investigation is complete. There may be more to this than is on the surface, after all it's in the murder capital of the USA. From the article.

does not matter he is still an American Citizen ... the rest is irrelevent in the respect that they were trying to deport him thinking he was an illegal alien lol

They aren't as smart as you are, for some reason they are unable to detect real from counterfeit documents at first glance. And they were not trying to deport him, but was attempting to verify the authenticity of the documents. Perhaps the responsible department will at some point provide their side of this issue, rather than the usual speculation.

Fully justified in bring forth a lawsuit. It would appear that someone is more than a little zealous WRT documentation. I have no issue with illegal aliens getting deported. Semper Fi
