Just three days before a major life-changing election, our 24/7 365 president gave the green light to the United States Navy SEAL Team Six to go in and rescue and American hostage in Nigeria and they did so with 100% success! No, I'm not implying that the motivations were political. Just the opposite. If this has gone wrong it certainly would have ensured that the president would not be re-elected. The people would have made it political. But he made the decision anyway based on advice from his military advisers that the conditions were right and they went in. I think most of us know that a lot of military advisers don't like him. Those that have the Stars on their epaulets usually leaves the military and go to defense manufacturers and whatnot and when we have peace time those jobs aren't available as readily as they are during time of War. That's why there's a lot of angry ex generals. They can politicize it all on their own. No, this is about making the decision regardless of the political consequences that may have existed I believe.
