I spent many years in corporate HR (recruiting). I can tell you, most people (estimates are like 70-80%) are miserable at work. They are often in jobs that are not a good fit, and then high stress is added to that and then people find themselves sick and burnt out. It's a horrible way to live - I've been there and I've seen it in others!

That would be good news, if we didn't have such a miserable labor participation rate. A healthy turnover is due to people leaving for better employment. When the Unemployment rate is fully extended using the BLS U-6 table, it isn't as good as some may think. Not to mention the welfare state costs have not decreased and it seems that we can not keep up with those that can't put food on the table so we pass it out at local pantries and schools.
