What about NATO dollars today and every day? Until they catch up on the unpaid commitment to pay 2% of their GDP to support NATO every year. IF anyone here doesn’t know the USA is deficit spending we are borrowing money to give it away. As social security is going broke we (THE USA) are paying the pensions of the Ukrainian people. Thanks to the Democrats willingness to hand out our credit card leaving the tax payer holding the bag once again. Biden Cut the production of clean burning and produced fossil fuels here in the USA. And funded Russia and Irans War chest. By not allowing our fuel on the market. The Biden administration owns the mess in Ukraine and the middle east. PS. Not allowing NATO countries to give there jets to Ukraine assured Russia air superiority and thats very difficult to over come.

SPC Les Darbison - The bottom line is not deniable. If Russia takes Ukraine, Putin will try again and again until he gains the "Imperial Russian Empire" he so desires. History does repeat itself. We should learn from that.

I agree with you, so how do we get NATO to pay up. Instead of us borrowing money to fund this war. With no return on our investment with borrowed money. China is loaning money out across the globe. And when countries default they collect in assets.

SPC Les Darbison - All we can do is try diplomatic discussions with those members that are not, or cannot, pay more. What we must NEVER do is allow NATO to dissolve. That would be disastrous and Putin would run roughshod across Europe.

Add it to another narrative each side (mine included) uses to elicit a required response. Super easy- Russia BAD. The enemy of my enemy is my friend!!! We are paying the price for not standing up when they invade Crimea!!! As usual, we are late to the party.

Fifty-eight percent of Democrats said it was extremely or very important for the U.S. to provide military aid to Ukraine in its fight against Russia, while just 24 percent of Republicans said the same. Thirty-six percent of Republicans said it was not too important or not important at all that the U.S. provide assistance.

Our allies need to pay there fair share. And should probably not buy there fuels from their enemies ( Russia and Iran.) In doing so it’s felling there war chest with cash. Maybe we really do need an Administration change here at home one the didn’t empower our enemies to start wars by sending them tons of cash.
