Americans paying more in taxes than for food, clothing

Go figure that, and around here if the school system needs money they just raise our property tax, if the county or local city needs more money they just raise the percentage they collect on ones wages from 1% to 1.9%, if the local utility needs money they go to the commission and get approval to raise our electric bill by 15%. My daughter just went to a convention and had to pay a 12% tax on the meal she ate. Everybody wants a some our your check.
