Please don't think that I am not empathetic. My sister was traumatized by her abortion years ago and mental problems. 3 years ago, she committed suicide by hanging herself on the 4th of July! She had issues with a husband was physically abusive, she drank a lot and took painkillers for her slip and fall injury. If you feel like you want to harm yourself, contact Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous. Contact Military OneSource as well.

Did they ever consider the possibility that those veterans who are dealing with pain from PTSD or other issues have been drinking or doing drugs and thereby losing their common sense so they commit suicide? I noticed said it all these surveys they often don't focus on sobriety. Depression is aggravated by Alcohol and Other Drugs. We have Cinco de Mayo other stupid drinking holidays push forth by the alcohol companies and breweries to make sales but they don't realize that it actually feeds into the drinking habits of Alcoholics who commit suicide.

MAJ Ken Landgren
I have to be honest and say I went inpatient for 30 days a couple times. Sometimes folks need that time to find their new normal and rid their bodies of chemicals.

MAJ Ken Landgren I know it's a lot of rock stars are having liver failure from Decades of drinking. My wife also knows family and acquaintances who are suffering from borderline liver failure from the same years of drinking.
