Analysis: Latest subpoenas suggest DOJ probe could be aiming squarely at Trump

I really hope for the sake of the country that Trump and those, including certain members of congress who helped him try to illegally hold onto power are prosecuted, convicted and then sentenced sufficiently to ensure that they can never again interfere with our until 2021 previously unbroken record of the peaceful transition of power.

I shouted to all who would listen back in 2015 (and even at his earlier “Birther” nonsense in 2011) that Trump posed a grave threat to our national security, and if anything, he proved far worse than I ever could have imagined. That people still support that seditious piece of human filth is just as dangerous as Trump himself, and is proof that the damage he did to this country will take years, if not decades to undo.

During the entire of Trump’s administration, I tried (and mostly failed) to keep my mouth shut about him. I had to block many people on this and on other social media platforms because of him. Since his escalator speech that launched his 2016 campaign it has been and remains my sincere belief that Donald Trump along with White Nationalists, far-right militias (Oathkeepers, Proud Boys, etc.), folks like Roger Stone and Steve Bannon and even elected officials like Jim Jordan, Mo Brooks, Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Green and Paul Gosar are the domestic portion of the “all enemies” that we all swore to support and defend the constitution against.

It was easy to see his character very early in 2016 campaign. If insulting the people of Mexico crossing the border as “Rapists and criminals” or mocking a disabled reporter weren’t enough, his juvenile two-word insulting nicknames like “Nervous Nancy” or “Lyin’ Ted” should have been. Sadly, he earned a very descriptive two-word insulting nickname from me on January 6, 2021; “TRAITOR Trump”.

I hope the Justice Department is finally able to hold him accountable and make sure that he never again commands anything more important than a prison laundry room, and even there just about any other inmate would be a far better choice.
