Another Marine Commanding Officer Fired Over Drunk Driving Charges

I hate to see distinguished service members losing their careers. It's hurting the military.

When I was at Camp Lejeune as a lieutenant we were told that if our name came up on the J-Ville Police Department blotter we'd be out of the Marine Corps in a week.

From my experience as a civilian working with substance abuse & the vets I’ve come across - it seems like substance use & abuse gets swept under the rug. It needs to be an “ok” thing to talk about and for which to seek help. Not hide.
