An exemplary Soldier has passed away from Cancer this past Saturday. I have the green light from his Family to share this info. and spread the word of his legacy.
SSG Anthony Perez from the 42nd MP BDE (JBLM) passed away from cancer on Saturday, he just ETS'd this year. He was a 31E, he was an above average guy who had a genuine care for other human beings. All NCOS need to be more like him.
I am raising $ through a Facebook fundraiser for memorial bracelets, extra funds go directly to his wife and 3 daughters.
The goal was $500.00, we far exceeded that within a few hours of the fundraiser starting.
We have raised $4000+ so far, keeping this up for a few more days before ordering bracelets and direct-depositing $ to his family.
Even if you didn't know him thats fine, anything helps. The funds we have received so far just proves the close-knit community that the military is. Thank you.
