FEMA has always been on the end of the federal budget food chain. Current proposed cuts are way more than in the past however.

With debts of $24B, built up since Sandy and other natural disasters, they have to watch what they pay out. Another $200+B on the way. Guess that will come out of their secret stash. (Our pockets) FIX THE FEMA RULES and insurance rates for dangerous areas.
