Appalachian Outlaws: Running For Your Life - Full Episode (S1, E5) | History

The thing I hate about these shows is how they're ruining the prospects of "regular" people who've not been fortunate enough to get on History Channel's "radar", and be offered T.V. show. Digging "'Seng" has been here in Appalachia for a looooong time. It helped put shoes on kids feet during the Great Depression, and unlike running "moonshine"... came with fewer risks vs. rewards. Everyone here has a "love/hate" relationship with the National and State Parks... but my personal sense of it is that the Authorities have enough on their plate running down illegal drug growers and saving people who get in over their heads in the woods to be waging a "war" on 'Seng diggers.
