Appeals court dismisses emoluments clause case against Trump involving Washington hotel

Putting Trump on the shelf for a moment. I think this is a topic for our society to debate because past Presidents that have put all their assets into a blind trust have not fared so well and I personally think it is a obstacle for ordinary people that may want to run for POTUS. President Carter put his peanut farm and his assets into a blind trust and he was shocked to find after he left the White House due to years of mismanagement a good portion of his assets were consummed and his Peanut Farm was on the brink of insolvency. That is really sad in my opinion. There has to be be a better way here. I think it is interesting what the judges said in the attached article about the lawsuit almost being an abuse of the justice system as before the lawsuit was brought most attorneys were saying that this clause is at best very difficult to prove and likely that the case would fail. Yet the DA's of two states still persisted with the case, which makes them look like fools now.
