No,
That is ridiculous. We can retire at 20 years on full benefits, we get the best health insurance out there and with the pay and benni package, the military is a great way to go. I did 24 years, I loved it all and would do it again in a heartbeat. We don't get paid by the hour, and we don't get overtime, at the same time we get paid per diem to buy groceries. Housing allownace...jump pay....Nope Overtime not a requirement
