The woman shot to death by Long Beach police Wednesday was trying to become an officer at the department, according to authorities.
Rice and her boyfriend were arguing before he left the home and she opened fire on him, according to police.
Should he of walked away earlier ?

True. You only use a firearm to end a threat. Since the guy was in his car driving away, there was no threat. Even if she had lived, she would have faced some serious charges, especially in the Demokratik Peoples Republik of Kalifornia. She definitely would not have been able to be a cop after that. There really isn't anyone worth throwing your life or career away for.
