Somebody please tell me this is a joke! I'm looking forward to Monday to see if this will be a thing. For some (yours truly not included) calling a fellow Soldier 'Battle Buddy' is a term of endearment. Moving from that to 'Warrior Companion' because some people's feelings get hurt is absolutely ridiculous. When do we stop pandering to feelings?

Seriously? We now marrying each other to be in the military? I don't need some sorry ass sensitive nut there to cry when something goes down. Warrior Companion? You want a companion get a dog. I will take my battle buddy any day of the week.

Sounds a lot like when the Navy tried 'Sea Warrior' in exchange for 'Shipmate'. Lots of luck changing that culture for now, SGM (Join to see)
