The good news is, you could probably avoid buying them, wear the current ones until the wear out date and then just get the ones that replace these (which at this rate will be the greens again).

Pinks and Greens were officer uniforms. Enlisted wore Greens or Khakis.

Actually enlisted wore a course wool Eisenhower jacket. They looked good, but pink and greens were better looking..I like the new choice. Stripes down the trouser legs can make it easy to identify officers from enlisted. if that is an issue..However rank insignia should be sufficient.

Wish they did this 50 years ago and kept the class B khaki dress uniform too.

[SSG Jess Peters] I totally agree with you. The khaki was cooler in the heat. This new uniform has a proud look. Would have made my WWII Maj Dad beam!
