Army Coach Jimmy Allen Post 67-63 Loss to Loyola MD in Patriot League Semi-Final on March 10, 2021

Loyola hot at start going to 19-4 lead, kept a 15 point kead at halftime 42-27. Army made strong second half comeback narrowing deficit to two twice in last 90 seconds on drives to basket by Josh Caldwell.

Loyola sophomore forward Santi Aldama from Spain, had superb game with 33 points and 12 rebounds. Cam Spencer had difference making performance with 16 pts and 7 rebounds. LU edge on boards 38-27.

For Army Caldwell had 21 pts, so did freshman Jalen Rucker, Alex King 6 pts, Lonnie Grayson 5 pts, Nick Finke 2 pts, Tucker Blackwell 3 pts, Aaron Duhart 3 rebs. Black Knights shot 41% but just 3-21 on threes.

Loyola moves to Patriot League final on Sunday at #2 seed Colgate which defeated Bucknell 105-75 and bid to NCAA Tournament field.
