I can never understand why this happens. No one will really know why he killed her.

The only thing good about a murderer killing himself or herself is that either saves the local or state government a ton of money to investigate, convict, and execute after twenty years of appeals. It's a waste of good taxpayer monies. I've often wondered why so much money and manpower is spent on trying to determine the motive when the bad guy is dead. What difference does it make at that point, what difference could it possibly mean to the investigation which is, for all intents and purposes, is over? And I had to conduct those post-crime investigations. To no avail every time, in my professional opinion.

As a CGIS agent in D2/D8 for twenty years, I worked three murders, several robberies, sexual assaults (rapes), and sundry other Part I crimes committed by Coasties off base. People were astounded that they would do things that were "normal" crimes on the outside. For me, it was just another day at the office.
