I never realized there was a Guinness World Record for helicopter flying formations SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. That is interesting that thirty-two OH-58D Kiowa Warriors with 1st Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, conducted a record-breaking formation flyover during a farewell flight at Fort Bragg, N.C., on Friday, April 15.
I hope they were not doing that simply to get into the Guinness Book of World Records just before the OH-58D is retiring from active service.
