Army investigation blames general for ‘negative publicity’ after defending servicewomen online

This guy is just one in a long line of Officers who thought they were smarter and better than everyone else. And he found out his thoughts didn't count as much as he'd like...Army general wise.

I will say I think this was a bullshit investigation. He should have been allowed to go gentle into that good night. Less publicity for him and the Army.

Bif Army: Good job!!!
Carlson: How dare he call out my BS? He is what's wrong with the military.
Cruz (in an unwitting acknowledgement that Carlson is a partisan political hack): By calling out Calrson's BS, Donohue engaged in politics from his official position.
Big Army: Unfortunately doing the right thing PUBLICLY has brought too much negative attention. So you are now in trouble.

WTF?

I will grant that the "come get your boy" comment was out of line. But let's not pretend what this is about. Cruz and Calrson cannot STAND the fact that Senior Leaders are standing up for Army Policy and telling them they are wrong. So THEY create a shit storm. And then, rather than backing the leaders who DID THE RIGHT THING, the decide that because it gained "negative attention" (read: Carlson and Cruz threw a hissy fit), they somehow did the wrong thing.

So, in a perverse way, Carlson was correct. The Army IS weaker. If the pressure gets too great, they WILL cave..... to the right.
