I hope not; however, that flag is facing the wrong shoulder Not a big deal but you always lead with the stars, so I am guessing he/she did not know.

Wayne I first started wearing them I was told imagine if the flag was on a pole heading into battle. If it is the wrong way it is in retreat

We caught a lot of abuse in the early 1970s.

I think that someone found a uniform and just put the flag on it and took a picture

Probably. That or just wanted to get US ARMY and a flag in the same shot without a name.

I proudly wore my uniform while on recruiting duty in the mid 1970's......but it did draw a lot of harsh response from certain elements of the civilian populace. I think the military is held in higher esteem in this day and age, but the public is fickle and that can all change on a moments notice.

I agree. I originally was on Active duty from 1973-1984. There were a lot of incidents where military were verbally or physically attacked.
Fast forward to post 9-11. I was called back to active duty from 2004-2010 and traveled frequently throughout CONUS in uniform. Big difference. On planes, I was offered 1st class seats by passengers (I always thanked them and asked that they offer it to a lower rank), I saw people standing and clapping in the terminals, I had people offer to buy my meals, etc
