I thought the whole point of the ACFT was for it to be gender neutral and based on your MOS? Females aren’t the only ones having difficulties with the leg tuck. I couldn’t do one at DCC on the practice ACFT. I was close, but couldn’t do it. Lots of males had the same issue. So what did I do? I worked at it and got to the point I could do the required score.

You just have to train to the test unfortunately. Regardless of gender that’s what it requires. Regular active duty has it easier consider the equipment is right there on post every single day. The rest of us in the reserve and guard components had to get our own equipment at home or join a gym. Then covid hit and most of us lost access to a gym. The first practice ACFT back with the units for guard and reserve are going to show a lot of failures in ACFT and in height/weight.

There has to be minimum requirements based upon the MOS and job, that’s it one hard line, regardless of the gender issues. Can’t meet requirements your either reassigned or dismissed, it’s not that hard even in this bs politically correct world where everyone gets a cookie and a badge for trying hard.
