Army Seeking Cadets To Become Army Space Force Operations Officers

What the Army really needs is more Space Force First Sergeants.

I can see it now:
Filling out DA 6 for Space Force Police Call
Taking applications for Space Ranger School
Yelling at Joe to "float still" while at parade rest for an hour during the Change of Command Ceremony

I realize it's a serious piece, I do genuinely get that...however, the very concept of anyone sugesting a "space force" is, to me, and I know I'm gonna get disagreed with for this, pure Spaceballs lunacy...no starships...no nulcear-powered spacecraft with a crew of 100...no massive space stations a la 2001: A Space Odyssey...no Moon base..."space force"...yeah...right...sure...as I'd said, I know that's my pure cynic's viewpoint, obv, however, that's just how I think about the whole thing, honest...it was pure dumb fantasy, when I'd heard about it for blue-suit land, I just can't alter my thought process any for green-suit land...though, as I'd said, I do realize, saying that, that the article was serious...I just nevertheless think the whole concept patently absurd, honest....
