Got $ 50 for my first six months " on the trail". Then $ 75 for the second six months, and a whole 100 dollars for the second year and we ran from 0330 am to 2300pm six and seven days with only one drill per platoon for the most part.

Well with the hours we worked, we didn't go anywhere to spend any money, except to get those solid og green fatigues starched !! ha ha
