For the men and women that sail on Navy ships, arson is a better explanation than thinking she just caught fire.

Actually, hate to say it but fires are the top danger while in yard periods (which BHR was). The second biggest danger is flooding. I, of course, had both.... I am just glad no one died in this accident, and the lessons learned from fighting that big a fire for that long with so many different resources, while operating in a pandemic environment, will pay huge dividends.

I have seen this time and time again with the Navy. The Navy blames some poor young kid for their own mistake. The fire suppression system was not operational. I guess it was that sailors fault too. Do you know how you can tell if the Navy is lying? Their lips move. (lol). The Navy said that all that smoke from the fire wasn't toxic too. Unless you have an independent investigation I don't believe anything the Navy says.
