We can't ask for Voter ID for fear of driving illegal aliens away from voting booths. We can't ask an immigration status question on the Census for fear of driving away illegal aliens so they can be counted for purposes of apportionment of seats in Congress and federal benefits. But nothing will drive off illegal aliens from collecting free money

My ofttimes gardener has such an ID and a card from the Mexican Consulate in Los Angeles.
