I take your point in general, but these two issues do not equate. I'd almost say it's a straw man, but that doesn't seem quite right. People do THIS thing right while fucking THAT thing up all the time. Which doesn't excuse the fuck-up, but also doesn't dismiss the thing done right.

You're thinking logical fallacy. Apples to oranges. I'm on board with praise what is done right and condemn what is done wrong.

POTUS did cut down aid already. Honduras has some anarchy due to a stolen election and local government outgunned by local drug lords. It is sad to see these poor people. I go to Honduras yearly. This will play to the hand of the Sanctuary City and state progressives who don't want borders. Stopping anyone due to no passport is legitimate. Some do have passports and will try to cross. I am sure Democrats are using this to their advantage to foster people who can't vote to register. Even Canada asks for voter ID when registering or voting.

Canada keeps a registry of those who are citizens over 18, those who are deceased and those who became naturalized citizens. I am a resident. If I dare register, I would probably lose my residency. Progressives probably think Canada is too tough compared to the weenie US system that dares not ask. Go to a Hotel, Border checkpoint, get pulled over by law enforcement and they ask for ID. Go to vote, no! They do need to make changes for those on Indian Reservation who have no real address. That needs to be fixed.

MAJ Bryan Zeski - "What other rights should people be required to show ID"
you mean like buying a gun? Proving who you are isn't a terrible injustice, a state license *cough ie drivers license* would not be an impossible thing to require for voting.

SSG (Join to see) - the list is endless but legal loophole for voting booth entry or registering to vote without ID people use Jim Crow and other means to deter minorties but that is an exception and not the rule.

MAJ Bryan Zeski in California, you could register at a Junior College as an Illegal using any country's Consulate ID card from anywhere in the world. They get in for free but Californian residents pay. True story. I knew some illegals in my Mother's Banning, CA Spanish bible study class 12 years ago. One told me his US friends were pissed!

MAJ Bryan Zeski - Graham sounds soft spoken but he is as pissed as he was at his Democratic friend Diane Feinstien at the Judge Cavananaugh scolding to Democrats.

LTC (Join to see) - I don't see anything in your article about Graham... what are you saying the relevance is here?
