This is gonna be awesome.
Two of the best things about sports is how it brings folks together, and how sometimes you get to witness history being made.
There's still Gretzky's really unobtainable record: 1963 total assists.
All the career hall of famers who could have challenged it came up short by 700 to 800.
And to have tallied up both of those records together is what made him the Great One.

As a born and bred NY Rangers fan, I enjoyed it when we had Gretzky. As much as it hurts me to say it, considering Overchkin is a Capital player, good luck on passing the record.
